hunker down...that is what we did this weekend!

when you get 17+ inches of snow, you  

hunker down!!!  

we have not had a snow storm like this in years.  we were hit hard this weekend...it was pouring snow, that is what i call it when it really comes down.  it would not stop.

here are some pictures, so if you don't have any of this white stuff, i have some for you!   

my snow bunnies...they had lots of fun out there, but were getting cold and sick of snow in their face!

this storm was crazy, with lots of snow and high winds.  you would shovel or snow blow and within a hour you had to do it again...it was just nuts!  we didn't leave our house for 48 hours and missed some fun activities on saturday due to this stuff!  

but, i did get a lot done around the house...

some cookies baked!

sunday morning...todd was our hero and shoveled us out, so we could finally get out of the house!  he was out there for 2+ hours and it was so deep, he couldn't use the snow blower...bummer!

this was the end of our driveway, where it meets the alley...and living in the city with an alley, there is not a lot of places to put the snow!

it will be white Christmas around here, there is no question about that!
