weekend recap

we had a wonderful weekend in the gruber house...busy again, but wonderful!

 friday we headed to st. cloud, because two of todd's anuts were in town and we wanted to see them...it was SO much fun.  the girls loved getting up to grandma & grandpa's and had a blast playing.  auntie janelle and carmen were staying at g&g's, so we caught up on life, played and i was able to ask janelle-the queen of sewing a few questions on a huge order i will be working on...more on that later.

saturday they had a fun play date with addie.  todd took care of the girls, while we ran to the fabric store to pick up a lot of this:

i will be working on a huge order this month using this fun girly fabric and i can't wait to show you the finished product...so much fun, i can't wait to start!

here are all the girls eating a yummy lunch of  mac & cheese...what kid does not like that...i think all kids are born with loving that meal...at least my do!

the rest of the weekend we just played, went out for dinner...this is something we always do on the weekend and hung out.  we even let the girls watch a movie on saturday night...the fox and the hound, they loved it!

after church on sunday we were able to meet the preschool teacher that the girls will have next year...very nice and they can't wait to go.  there was a big open house at church for the school, since it is catholic school week...our church is big, but the school is small and has such a warm feel to it...i am really looking forward to sending them there this fall for preschool.
