birthday celebration and one year blogversity!

last night we had a little birthday celebration for me! just me, todd and the girls...it was nice to be home and enjoy each other. todd picked up yummy pizza and got pink cupcakes (pinkalicious cupcakes the girls called them) for me! the girls love birthdays and could not wait to sing, blow out candles and eat birthday cake...they are just too cute and sweet! tonight we are going out for birthday dinner and tomorrow i am enjoying the afternoon with a dear friend...can't wait!

mara even remembered it was my birthday this morning without anyone to remind her this morning about it! she said to me...'daddy is bring home pizza for mommy's birthday and birthday cake...happy birthday mommy'...my heart just melted, it made my day.

the girls helped me open my cards, a wonderful gift...thanks! (see picture below), sang and blew out the candles...what a great nights!


on another note, i started this little blog a year ago today...i can't believe it! i can still remember the day, thinking to myself what am i doing...starting a blog! now, a year later, i love it and have meet so many wonderful and talented women! thank you for reading my blog and if you are new...welcome! with a new year, i am working on a few new changes to my blog...just making it cleaner and a little more simple. i am trying to come up with a weekly topic of post too, if i figure that out...i will let you know! thanks again for a wonderful year in blog land!
