Big Girls and Happy Belated Easter!

 I hope you had a wonderful and Blessed Easter weekend.

We did around here...it was very laid back and so nice to enjoy the weekend with no major plans!

The girls had a great time finding all of the eggs the bunny hide around our house and loved all of their goodies in their Easter Baskets too! 

Each year is more fun to celebrate with them...seeing the holidays through the eyes of children is such a joy!

The girls had a BIG weekend of learning....

They both learned how to ride their bikes with no training wheels!

Mara is going everywhere...and is really fast!

The first thing she wants to do every morning...is go ride bikes!  

She LOVES it!

K is a little bit slower, which is okay with me.

Back to School!

The girls are Back to School!

Their first day was yesterday...a full day too!

We had to get Back to School haircuts, so I took them to my salon!

I don't know if they loved it as much as I do, but it was fun!

I think the girls' had a wonderful party...it was a great day and so much fun!

i still  can't believe the girls are 4!
the last 4 years have just gone by way too fast, but i feel like i can finally breathe again...and it feels good!
i am enjoying this age...it is a lot of FUN!

How BIG are we?

The girls' had their 4 year old check up last Monday and here are the stats:

Kaylin:

33.4 pounds (25th percentile)

3 feet 4 inches tall (25th percentile)

 Mara:

28.4 pounds (3re percentile)

3 feet 1 inch tall (3rd percentile)
funny side note...i have always worry about how little Mara is!  Come to find out she is the same size I was at 4...so at least there is hope she will be my size as an adult!

They are doing great, the doctor was very happy with how far they have come, since they started out so tiny!

I think the girls had a great birthday...big party on Saturday!  Sunday we went to a park, played for hours, had ice cream and out to dinner with some good friends.
