mara is home!

mara is home and napping.  she is doing so much better today!  She has the Adenovirus, which is not so much fun.  This not so lovely virus is a group of viruses that infect the membranes (tissue linings) of the respiratory tract, the eyes, the intestines, and the urinary tract.  Mara has a lot of issues with constipation and because this virus slows down your bowel movement...it slowed hers down a lot! 

now i am just hoping kaylin does not get it, so we will see!  no signs so far and that is a good thing.

just to give you an idea of how mara felt...this is a picture of her yesterday and it pretty much sums up how she felt all week until today.

and this was her this morning...a little more like my old mara...she is still really sleepy, but i hope she is feeling better.  she has almost been fever free for 24 hours!

and blowing bubbles...she loves to blow bubbles!

thanks for your prayers and thoughts.  it has been a long 24 hours.  i don't know how parents do it with kids that are in the hospital for weeks and weeks...i feel like we were there for weeks and it was only a day!
