happy 3rd birthday
kaylin and mara!!!!it was birthday weekend around here. the girls turned 3 on saturday and we started celebrating their birthday on friday. todd took the day off and we took them out to lunch!
we took them to lunch at the american girl cafe...it was a surprise, we didn't tell them where we were going, but they could bring their bitty babies!
it was fun and they don't miss a beat at that place...lots of pink and so girly, i loved it!
here are a few pictures from lunch!
kaylin with her bitty!
mara with her bitty!
when they bring out your drinks...the dolls get drinks too, with little cups, the girls thought it was so cute!
mara giving her bitty pink lemonade
k doing the same!
then they bring the dolls...dessert!
they sang happy birthday to the girls and then they ate their birthday cookie!
here was a pretty pink flower light...i just loved it! i wish we sat right under it, so i could have gotten a better picture, but there was a different family, so this was the best i got...next time!
and then the pretty bathrooms...even todd say the bathrooms are really nice...and he does not like public bathrooms at all...i don't blame him, they can be gross, but not at american girl!
a place to hang your doll when you go potty!
see they don't miss a beat at this place!
and they had numbers on the doors...so i had to get the girls in front of the 3!
so that was our american girl experience. it was fun, over the top and very girly. thank goodness their daddy doesn't mind, because it was really girly!
we typically go to the como zoo with the girls on their birthday, but the weather around here has been for the birds. so before lunch we had to wait a little bit, so we went to the park in moa....only had time for one ride, which was okay with mom & dad!
so that was the start to birthday weekend!
it was a great day together and the girls had a lot of fun!
part 2 will be up around 10AM...so come on back for more birthday fun!
how fun & cute!!! what a great way to kick off their bday weekend. can't wait to read more!
