this year it was a little bit colder and snow was on the ground, but that didn't stop us...heck we live in MN! we headed to a different tree farm, because the one we went to last year didn't have many cut your own trees.
so here we go....
todd and k looking for a good one! k didn't really care that much, but mara had a very strong opinion on what tree we should get...anything little she thought would be perfect!
we found it!!!
we all agreed this was the best tree for us this year!
todd went to work, cutting it down...
and dragging it to the truck!
and putting it on the truck...thank goodness for husbands!
then we went for a little hayride with trixie and dixie!
more traditions are coming!

I love that there is snow while you are getting your tree. I am in the land of tank top Christmas trimming...not the same effect!

oh those are good! my favorite tradition is christmas eve dinner. we light candles, make all our favorite yummy food...with sherbet punch. it's just fancy and fun:)

ReplyDeleteMy favorite is yummy Christmas eve dinner complete with a reading of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas....the actual book we read as a kid. It is well worn with love!
