fun friday: k's cast

k was willing to let me take a few pictures of her and the cast the other day!  she has actually come to like her pink cast, but i know she is looking forward to it coming off on monday afternoon and so am i!

the first few days were a little rough on her...the first thing she asked me was if the doctor was coming to take it off!  she didn't want to use her fingers on her right arm, so doing a lot of her 'normal' things was a little bit hard!  now...she is using those fingers and the cast is a non-issue for the most part!

here is our little photo shoot we did the other day, since she had changed into a short sleeve shirt...i could get the full cast shot!

  at dinner the other night, her and todd were talking about getting her cast off.  she said she would be 'alive and a new women' when they cut off her cast...it was so funny!
