here is a little review:
pinkalicious the play on friday night...it was so much fun and pink! the girls loved it!
i finally got my window boxes planted, feels good to have them done!
mara checked on the fairy garden and watered the plants!
mulch, mulch and more mulch! this was our 4th trip of getting 20 bags of mulch. we are now done...thank goodness!
enjoyed my favorite summer beer...yummy!
the girls flew their kites and had so much fun! it made me feel like a kid again...what a great feeling!

but, the best part of the weekend was planting our garden with my mom!
i love the fact that all of us...three generations out there digging, planting and
growing up we had a huge garden. my mom loved her garden and i love all of the fresh veggies from it. so i am excited that we planted this year. i hope that we will get some yummy fresh veggies. i will give you an update in a few weeks on how things are growing.

oh those window boxes are so sweet. you did get a lot done. makes me want to break out some kites and get out there:)
ReplyDeleteI love that 3 generations were digging in the garden too! My mom is such a green thumb, but sadly that gene skipped me.
