craft day: rainbows!

Right now the girls are loving rainbows!  It is so much fun, because I loved rainbows as a child too!  Even had a cat I named rainbow, because I loved them so much!

so on a rainy day...with lots of clouds, we did a cute little RAINBOW craft project and had so much fun!
supplies needed:
-rainbow picture (i just drew it free hand)
-tissue paper..all the colors of the rainbow
-markers...you don't really need them
-glue

I had the girls color in the rainbow first, so they knew what colors to glue to each ray.
and then glued the pieces of tissue paper...we all cut the tissue paper...they love to cut and it helps them work on their skills too!

and to go along with our RAINBOW day, we read a favorite around here:
How Do You Make a Rainbow?

And these really brighten up my day!
