get your craft on!

the girls have been going to music class since they were about one and their teacher is the best.  she is going to be a full time preschool teacher this fall and no longer will be teaching music, so we thought it would be great to make her a little something for her new teacher desk!

the girls and i had a lot of fun making these cute clay pots...which will hold some cute pens on her desk!

supplies needed:
-clay pots
-paints...any colors you want
-paint brushes
-fake flowers
-floral tape
-pens
-coffee beans
love all these pretty colors...the girls picked them out!
the girls got busy painting and i really didn't have to help that much...it was so much fun to watch and see what they created!
Kaylin painted her whole pot without my help, she just went right to work!
Waiting for it to dry!
Mara had an idea in her head of what she wanted to do on her pot...make a flag!  We didn't really make a flag with stars, but with a lot of polka-dots!

I worked on the flower pens, which are super easy.  Just cut the flowers off the bunch and use floral tape to attach them to the top of the pen.
Full with coffee beans and put the flower pens in the pot...doesn't get much easier then that for a cute
teacher gift!
Happy Crafting!
