todd and i took full advantage of being kid free for 2 nights, it was like the good ol' days again around here!
thursday night we ran errands and then ate dinner at 8:30....and had drinks! i don't remember the last time we ate dinner at 8:30!
friday, i had a conference for two little tots stuff and then we had a lunch date, he left work early and we enjoyed our quiet house!
later in the evening we headed to hudson, wi for a great dinner along the st. croix river!
dinner was so yummy and the view was so peaceful and relaxing! we walked a little bit along the river after dinner, watching all of the boats!
and on sunday night we enjoyed a kid free dinner as well with friends overlooking the minneapolis skyline...it was a wonderful evening and so fun to go out on a sunday!
i am a little behind this monday morning, with a sewing mess going on, laundry that still needs to be done, a house that needs to be cleaned and just stuff that needs to be picked up, i am so happy todd and i had a great weekend together...just us, no worries in the world...it was awesome!

It is amazing how different life is when the kiddos aren't around. My two older daughters are at camp for 2 WEEKS in Maine. It's totally weird, but I am definitely taking advantage of the quiet and just having one little one around.
